Tasmania’s premier centre of manufacturing and export
The Bell Bay Advanced Manufacturing Zone is Tasmania’s premier centre of manufacturing - 59 per cent of all Tasmania’s manufactured exports are produced in the Bell Bay area.
Occupying 2,500 hectares, it is Tasmania’s largest industrial precinct. Situated at the port of Bell Bay on the eastern shore of the mouth of the Tamar River, in northern Tasmania, it lies just south of the township of George Town and 50 kilometres from the Tasmania’s second largest city, Launceston.
